About “Rewalidacja”

polish version
Since 1997 a periodical "Rewalidacja" has been published two times a year (once/half year) by The Methodical Centre of Psycho-Pedagogical Assistance.

The periodical is addressed to teachers, therapists, specialists and parents of children with various kinds and grades of disabilities. The articles in this periodical are written by teachers-practitioners.
Among other published materials, one can find:

  • Fresh methods of work and programmes concerning educational and therapeutic interaction;
  • Methods of assessing child's development and functional abilities learned by them;
  • Ideas related to that how to use various didactic help in practice.

In our periodical, very important are articles concerning the so-called   "a case analysis" in which authors exchange their experiences in working with children (sometimes few years old children) when applying the conventional methods does not bring any expected results.

We would like to encourage you to send us such articles because in special pedagogy there is a discrepancy between a wide spectrum of particular methods and a reliable answer to the question: which one of them should be chosen and in which sequence and how to adapt it to the individual profile of child's functioning.

Dr Maria Piszczek, who is a clinical psychologist, is an editor of „Rewalidacja". In formal matters related to article publishing, please contact Grażyna Kowalczyk – an oligophrenopedagogue.
